Howard S. Sasson
"Howie" was born in Auburn, New York and raised in Syracuse, New York. He received a bachelor's degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1974 and a law degree from the same school in 1977. After law school he worked as a VISTA lawyer in Boston, and came to Springfield in 1980 to work with the law firm. Howie concentrates his practice in lead paint litigation, personal injury litigation, civil rights litigation, wills and estates and bankruptcy. He served as the president of the Western Massachusetts Legal Services for 8 years, and is currently on the Board of Directors.

David P. Hoose
David was born in Hudson, New York and raised in Columbia County, New York. He received a bachelor's degree from the State University of New York at Oswego in 1974 and a juris doctor degree, magna cum laude, from Syracuse University in 1979. David concentrates his practice in criminal defense at the trial and appellate level and in civil rights litigation. He is a contributing author to Trying Drug Cases in Massachusetts and to The Massachusetts Superior Court Criminal Practice Manual. He has taught advanced criminal procedure at Western New England College of Law and has lectured on a wide variety of topics to the criminal defense bar. He is listed in the publications, "Best Lawyers in America," New England Super Lawyers," and Massachusetts Super Lawyers," in the area of criminal defense. In 2007 he was named one of the top 100 Massachusetts Super Lawyers by Boston Magazine. In 2008 he was named one of the top 100 trial lawyers in Massachusetts by the American Trial Lawyers Association.

Cynthia J. Turnbull
"Cindy" was born in Teaneck, New Jersey and raised in the Hudson River Valley of New York State. She received a bachelor's degree from Ithaca College in 1982 and a juris doctor degree from Northeastern University in 1987. Cindy concentrates her practice in family law, personal injury litigation and employment litigation. She has taught employment law at Western New England School of Law, and at Bay Path College where she has also taught family law. She has been a faculty member on various continuing legal education panels in the field of employment and family law.

Luke Ryan
Luke is a native of Northampton, Massachusetts. He received a bachelor’s degree from Amherst College in 1994 and a juris doctor degree, magna cum laude, from Western New England College School of Law in 2005. While at Western New England, Luke served as editor-in-chief of the Law Review and published a note on the necessity defense. Prior to going to law school, he worked for the Western Mass. Training Consortium, providing residential support for individuals with disabilities. Luke has been active in many community organizations over the years including the Performance Project, a non-profit organization which combines artistic self-expression and ongoing recovery support to men and women in jail and to those who have been released from jail. From 2005 to 2007, he clerked for United States District Judge Michael Ponsor. |
